There are quite a few new sub-compact carry guns chambered for the 9mm cartridge that have been recently released. Comparing them can be quite the challenge.
I personally prefer the Shield but then I'm always swayed toward Smith and Wesson guns. The Glock 43 however stands with it's head held high as a small, single stack 9mm weapon and certainly is worthy of pocket carry for concealed carry for those that are die-hard Glock lovers.
The person doing the review has basically updated his Shield to a S&W Performance Center-type weapon. He spent more money doing this than what it would have cost him to just go and buy the new edition of the Shield through the Performance Center. Not sure why he chose to do that other than the fact that the performance Center weapon is ported and perhaps he didn't want that option.
